Located in Dongyang Jiangbei High-tech Industrial Park, about 10 kilometers away from China Yiwu International Trade City, Zhejiang Fonow Medicine Co., Ltd. started to build a new modernized production base in August 2004, which is a modernized topical dermatological preparations manufacturer integrating product research and development, production and sales. The company has a complete series of topical dermatological preparation dosage forms, and has passed the GMP certification and ISO9001/14001 dual system certification. The company's product features are obvious and the benefits are remarkable. In 2022, the sales revenue of a single product of "FONOW" ointment was 320 million RMB, and the company's net profit in 2021 and 2022 was 79.9 million RMB and 84.6 million RMB. The company has been awarded the honorary titles of "National High-tech Enterprise", "Top 100 Growing Science and Technology Enterprises in Zhejiang Province", "Top 20 Benefits per Mu (Biomedicine) in Zhejiang Province", and "Leading Industrial Enterprise in Dongyang City".
The company now has two ointment workshops, two cream workshop and three API workshops. The factory covers an area of 120,000 square meters, with scientific research laboratories and administrative buildings, and can produce 10 million ointments and creams and 10 million aluminum foil packets annually. All production facilities and production management follow China's Good Manufacturing Practice ("GMP") certification guidelines. On February 9, 2007, the Company received GMP certification from the China Food and Drug Administration ("CFDA"). The Company began certifying its plants under U.S. GMP regulations in 2007.
