Abstract: Objective To observe the clinical effect of Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) combined with olive oil in the treatment of incontinence-related dermatitis in the elderly. Methods: Elderly patients with incontinence-related dermatitis who were hospitalized in our department from January 2013 to March 2015 were selected, and 67 patients were divided into the study group (37 cases) and the control group (30 cases) using the random number table grouping method. . The control group was treated with simple Longzhu ointment, while the research group was treated with Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) combined with olive oil. Observe and compare the curative effect and recovery time between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 94.59%, and the number of days to cure was (4.05 ± 0.15) d; the total effective rate of the control group was 73.33%, and the number of days to be cured was (6.57 ± 0.31) d. The observation group was significantly better than the control group ( P <0.05). Conclusion Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) combined with olive oil can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients with age-related dermatitis. The treatment is highly effective and suitable for clinical promotion and application.
