Abstract : Objective To observe the efficacy of Nuhuazizhu capsules combined with Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) in the treatment of acne vulgaris. Methods 298 patients with acne vulgaris were selected and randomly divided into 143 cases of Nahuazizhu capsule combined with Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) group (treatment group) and 155 cases of Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) group (control group). Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) was given to the treatment group. On the basis of the above treatment, the treatment group was additionally given oral nudiflora purpurea capsules, with a course of treatment lasting 4 weeks. Results After 4 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate was 93% in the treatment group and 81.3% in the control group. Comparing the two groups, P<0.05. Conclusion Nuhuazizhu capsules combined with Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) can significantly reduce inflammatory papules and pain, inhibit pustule formation and pigmentation, and prevent scar formation in the treatment of acne vulgaris.
